The database can only be updated by the developer of RimPy, but in the mean time, if you just use the dependencies listed on Steam you can safely ignore any warnings/errors.
The functionality for batteries is a part of Androids Expanded, and has another developer than me, as this mod is just an add-on to that one. I do agree though that there should be a patch for modded batteries.
I've updated the Steam description and notified the developer of RimPy, so hopefully this will be fixed in the next database update. Thanks again for reporting and the support, I really appreciate it!
Looking forward to seeing whatever your next mod project is :)
Here's a (simplified) summary of the code:
<modDependenciesByVersion>
<v1.3>
<packageId>peptide.androidsexpanded</packageId>
</v1.3>
<v1.4>
<packageId>peptide.androidsexpanded14</packageId>
</v1.4>
</modDependenciesByVersion>
This doesn't seem to work with RimPy for some reason. I'll try asking the developer about this, assuming I'm not just missing something essential.
If there's a way to tweak that, people shouldn't have any more errors flagging up :)
As for the warning, as long as you have Androids Expanded 1.4, it can be safely ignored :) The files that it needs are there.
Always hated having no one to help my one crafter pawn craft items until end game where I unlock advanced droids from androids expanded mod.
This should help cut down on the crafting work more.
So should I just ignore the warning as some issue with RimPy? Thanks.

@AnotherNightOwl and @CrazyOdd Thanks for the input, but as this is only an 'add-on' so to speak to Androids Expanded, that is largely outside of my capability.
Could be due to one of my many other mods, of course.
