Very helpful when using SG552 as the dot from laser sights obstructs your view :health:

Hi! Can you make a mp5 with a laser sight by default? I don't want the bonus, just the sight. It's for aesthetics (I play without a HUD or interface).

It would be like this, but with the dot in the middle of the screen

If you are using a muzzle flash disabler that, instead of removing a certain code line in weapon models' MDLs (the best way of removing muzzle flashes completely without flashlight flickering) or replacing muzzleflash_light.vtf with a blank file (removes only the ugly environmental sprite of a muzzle flash, so the flashlight will flicker), affects weapon_fx.pcf (makes the muzzle flash particles transparent, which simply removes the flash at the tip of the barrel, I assume?), then sure they conflict — they are using the same file

Do you have a mod that removes the laser from first person? It is because it is weird seeing the flashlight and laser together. It looks like the laser is inside of the flashlight.

Endachi, thank you very much. As to why I requested it, I included it to my "1+2"collection since the apparent mismatch between the dot and the laser line gets too much with the more dramatic style of running animations. It gets so bad, I would bet good money on it being the reason for a conscious decision to make L4D2 movement animations more constricted.

Do you see the bots' dots in the screenshots? I do not, personally. You will not see dots neither from your laser nor other players'.
Other players who do not have this add-on installed will see the dots.
