dont think these doors work anymore
when I click reverse on the group of rotors it does nothing, theres power and everything!

I can't figure it out. You should put in some simple buttons to open the doors.

yea tnx by the way ive tried to change the 2rd door velocity and the door look i put the rotor on off and on again returning the velocity back try to reverse but it kind of get stuck

Of course you're welcome to use them. If you want to make one like the third door, you can fix it by only making the moving panels only one block thick. I uploaded these doors right before the update that changed some things about center of mass, and having a two block thick door panel now seems to put too much strain on the rotors and they get stuck. You can improve the second one by just increasing the rotor velocity.

yea these 3 doors are awesome the 1st is my favorite but i cant make work the last i only reverse and 2 of the 4 doors dont move at all did you mind if i place conectors on your 2 first doors maybie the 3rd if u fix it and use them for somes ships or station for my clan? space engineers qc empire (I.E.C) tnx:summeryeti:

If you use connectors, you can connect the small ship with the large ship and control your doors from every control panel in the ship.

honest.... we have seen this ages ago... I have put piston systems up like... I dunno how long ago... check out my workshop...

Also... why not just build it streight into the large ship? so much easier... and so much less likely to break...

The should add huge blast doors like these in the update, so you dont have any of the problems or break them at high speed. the are by far the best i have seen!

Sorry, but if you will attach one of those to a large ship and then get the ship to the speed of 140, the doors mind collide with the ship.

yea the rotors and such focus with center of gravity and stuff so to fix it you'll have to center the gravity to the rotor so it doesn't wobble and or break

Good job, The third is my favorite. Good idea doing twin doors... to avoid gaps I supposed. I've only seen the video because I'm not at home. I like to think that you have been inspired somehow by my latest dual door :D
@Arron Please If you could record a vid of my 4 piston elevator...it is losing workshop positions ;D I am only kidding :D

Well, if, say, he took a mod made by you, without permission incorporated it into his own and then claimed as his own - then it's impolite.

But you don't ask gamedevs about permission to make a video on their game. Same way you don't ask a mod developer to allow you to make a video on his mod, and there is nothing wrong in that.

I think Leo is referring more to the etiquette of using someone else's content rather than the legality. It's polite to ask someone before you use their content, but it's not necessary and it doesn't bother me at all that he didn't ask. I just wanted to share these ideas with people, and he's helped me do that by making the video.
