This mod is great! I think the traps can be better nerfed by having 6 grubs = 1 raw meat.
6 grubs (2 nu) = 12 nu
1 cooked meat = 16 nu

That way its not super cost effective (but still an upgrade) to go with traps. Requires a lot more labor. You would want to farm potatos to reduce food per effort and so on.
