i have this mod that does infinite health to. i cant find the mod and i cant disable it IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND IT ALL NIGHT.

By default the mod config does not do anything because it is set to the default teardown settings. However if you have changed settings and it still does not do anything.
Make sure you are subscribed to the mod. On the main menu click play then click mods.
In the center tab click the "Health config" mod. In the bottom right there will be a options button.
Click the options button to access the health config menu. When changing any of the settings make sure to click "Save & Close" and then reopen the options menu to make the settings are saved correctly.
Also make sure to click the "Disabled" button below the "options" button to enable the mod.
If the mod still does not work as expected, disable other mods. If you want to find out what mod is causing issues you could disabled all installed mods and enable them one by one.

I have had multiple reports for this issue, but disabling the red screen should always have worked. Make sure the mod is enabled and Red screen on any damage and on low health are set to disabled. By default the red screen is enabled. Click Save&Close and then reopen the options menu to make the settings are saved correctly. Otherwise another mod could be causing the red screen effects. If you want to find out what mod that is you could disabled all installed mods and enable them one by one.

For now I have created a fix for the permanent screen effects when the health is set too low. And increased the max timeout to 60 seconds. And patched some other bugs.

the low health effects are permanent if the health is set too low so we need to be able to adjust that as well.

can you make values typable and healing timeout max at 30 seconds as well as different damage multipliers if possible?

how do i access the heath config menu?

I have just tested the mod and do not have this problem.
First make sure you have the mod enabled, if the mod is enabled the healthbar should be square in game like shown in the picture. Also there should be a yellow dot next to the mod name if you have it enabled.
When going to mod options the blur and red screen effects should be disabled since you disabled it last time. If it is however not disabled. Click the "Default" button at the bottom. Then try changing the settings again and click "Save & close". Then go back to the mod options to verify your changes. These settings should now be disabled if you pressed the correct button.
If this problem still persists, try disabling other mods.
Make sure to follow these options thoroughly if the problem is not fixed.

I have some ideas on making the visuals of the health configurable but never got to it yet. Changing colors is one of them.

Thanks for the feedback i can increase the range of the timeout slider so you can set it to 10 seconds. I will add it in the next update. The screen actually doesn't turn red when you get damaged i just tested it. Are you sure the mod is enabled? If the mod is enabled correctly the health bar should be square like in the picture.

can you increase the timeout limit before healing to like 10 seconds? Also I wish there was a way to get rid of the red screen when taking any damage regardless if I'm low health

I always keep the players health at 100%, or 0% if they should die. And recreated the health bar from within the mod. This way low health events like slow walking never get triggered.

How is the low health slow walking disabled?
