This isn't actually part of my Sleep series, but as long as this mod is working by itself, it should work with them. Those Sleep mods are very simple.

hey congrats on effectively having your mod implemented into the base game, i believe there was an update that made it so pillows actually affect your sleep
either that or they're doing it for the next build, i can't remember which :v

Weird, it‘s not doing anything but checking if you are sleeping and if a pillow is close. Any errors? Or just not able to sleep?

I was playing in multiplayer on v41 and unfortunately this mod broke the sleep function for beds with pillows on it. Wouldn't let two people sleep at the same time. Hope it is fixed in the future, love the idea!

Pillow can be in your inventory OR in the direct vicinity. It stays on its place and you will gain a little bonus.
Sleep lasts round about 30-40 minutes less when sleeping on a pillow.

@Sebastian||the-bass-tian -- Love the idea for the mod o/ One question, how does this work exactly? Do you take the pillow from nearby, put it in your inventory, and sleep "with it" to gain the boost? or can it be nearby (say placed right on the bed by you) like in the mod's picture?

I'm still learning the basics of Zomboid'ish things. I might look into that too. Can't promise though.

probably outside the scope of what you're immediately doing here, but the system could even be expanded from there, with different types of bed stuff able to be found/made (sleeping under some old newspaper, space blanket, threadbare blanket, normal blanket, warm quilt, handmade quilt, blah blah blah). maybe finally an actual use for those spiffo dolls, chuck one in a bed to prevent nightmares? a "well-rested" moodle that gives you an actual bonus (mood, endurance, whatever) for sleeping in good conditions.

sorry for the giant text block, sleep just seems like sort of an undeveloped system in this game and it would be neat for it to have more meaning

cool idea, always wanted a cdda-style system where sleeping objects (pillows, sheets, blankets) piled onto the same bed tile served as a "made" bed with bonuses to warmth, etc.
