does it need to be installed in the custom folder?

ok so whenever i use this mod it appears that it loads in the default Romka HECU zombie torso, but it makes the headcrab on it appear as missing textures for some reason. Any idea why that might be?

I almost going nuts trying to understand why my texture for zombie scientist isn't working. And then i realized that it was because of yours default textures in your vpk. Anyway i love your work)

nope, its not an issue with the vanilla one because ive compared the two models before, the vanilla one goes down with one shotgun headshot, you can try it yourself

would be nice if their head hitbox was fixed as well, you can't seem to actually headshot them for some reason and they tank 2 shotgun blasts to the head because of that
