I don’t know if it is possible but I will also not change this. I also have little to no time to play let stand modding. For time being I do maintain them to work and thats about it.

Awaken fallen are going to build Habitats now... As they own the tech and don't have to research..

Hmm I din't bother to check it but indeed mod should work just fine as I do not touch anything that involves how habitats work. only touch tech 1 tier of habitats.

funny it all mess start with 1 idiot screaming UPDATE PLZ because version number does no longer match with out bothering to check if mod works or not.

I play with minimum habitable planets to make each one very valuable, and now the AIs are building habitats on every system they can, its a mess, I would greatly appreciate if you updated this mod, right now there is none to disable the habitats in 3.9 on the entire workshop

Maybe but main goal of this mod was to prevent AI building habitats on every single celestial body in their system. Performance gained was a bonus. As 3.9 chances 1 per system to crack is doable. Ill have see for my self when ever I get the chance to play if I find it worthwhile to update this until then this will be mod of the past.

Well, its 2470, and every System has a habitat (On Admiral with late game scaling difficulty). For me it lags like hell, even on an 13th Gen i9 CPU.

Maybe a cap on habitats like on leaders or starbases would do the trick, but for now i'll disable AI Building again

With changes of 3.9 I prob will not update this mod. There will be alot less habitat spams as so far I know you can only make 1 major habitat per system that acts like a planet.

Pushed update for Origin Knights of the Toxic God. AI now can research and build habitats as its part of the origin design.

@Tohsaka Rin there are several possiblities that AI still can make them and should be able to make them one example is Void dweller Origin and soon Knights of the Toxic God Origin when I get my update out as these empire start with the tech Orbital Habitats and are dependent of them. If possible check if one of those things applies to them. As said I did quick test and AI should not able to research Orbital Habitats as they can never see this option popup and you can test this to if you have ability to research Orbital Habitats then use console command human_ai this make your empire an AI controlled (pause the game if you do not want AI to do things) and research option Orbital Habitats should disappear and appear when toggle this on and off in the research list.

Also could be a other mod you use that is loaded later in your load order overwriting changes my mod to the same files basically removing my mod changes.

so try to load this mod last and see if it still happens.

What is not working then? need more information then just this.

With short test seems normal AI can still not get the first tier tech 1 as intended. I do see a other origin should have habitat tech the origin Knights of the Toxic gods and doe not have it. I will update to fix this when I have the time.

I updated the description of the mod so you can see what conditions can allow AI to build habitats.
