BTW, the new map of this looks amazing! Great work on both of these.
I will DELETE this verison in a few weeks to leave some time for the servers that downloaded this mod.
Saying that, having the building by itself may be fine. I just remember all the VHS Rental stores being either in convenience stores, post offices or close by regular shops so they'd have foot traffic. But things may have been different in rural areas like the game takes place in. But if you're going to edit a whole game cell to add a VHS store, I guess there's always the opportunity to add other stuff. :)
And I'm fine with the road as it is. Its far better than the right angles that the game used to have...
For the roads, I could probably achieve the same thing as Cherbourg's roads, but I think adding that kind of road would only clash more with the vanilla curved road that is right next to it. So I'd rather wait for the devs to make the curved tiles available. It shouldn't take too long hopefully.
As for traffic, I could add a couple stores in the area to make it more realistic, but other than that I feel like a VHS store is already reason enough for players to travel there, especially since there isn't one in West Point.
This does make me wonder if there's an asset out there for Blockbuster signs along with VHS display shelves (where the cases are shown face outwards, rather than like books) - as you'd see in old stores.
Tsk, anyhow. More maps are always nice. Positioning wise its a bit out of the way for traffic though. Perhaps having it next to a 24/7 convenience store could be an excuse for people to drive out to it?
