@ Varrgas It is "as if" you always had a compass in hand. If you craft a compass in-game and equip it, you should actually see another one displayed on the HUD, I believe.

By design, this mod makes easier to navigate in the game from the start, especially when playing with friends and communicating your position or direction.

Not sure to well understand, but the effect and the compass are only show "if" I have a Compass on me, right ?

@Scriturs It works just like you'd craft a compass yes, but since everyone is using mods like combined status anyway, instead counting days and seasons manually, why not go a step further?

Every player has to install the mod to see the compass.

Seeing where other players are (outside of your 3x-screen sight range) is much more complicated and usually requires server-side mods.

Why use it? does it work without having to create the compass? I will know where the other players are?
