I discovered accidently that if you have Aykkyu's FAS2 muzzleflashes then, the muzzleflashes from this addon work for TFA weapons too.
well they dont work on the pistols(regular pistols,Deagle and any revolver) but I tested on TFA rifles, SMGs, snipers and shotguns and they are working.
Just thought I should put it out there.

Just tried it out myself and seems to work just fine. To make sure, temporarily move out any other addon in the addons folder ( except .gmas ) and put the extracted custom muzzleflash addon there and disable any ArcCW muzzleflash related addons in-game.

ArcCW base just got updated on 29th of May, could be the reason why i think.
I'll still try to fix it.

Hey Froze, this is a great addon and actually made certain ArcCW weapons quite interesting for me. there is a problem though, when this addon was uploaded originally it was working great but after a few days it stopped working for me. So I decompiled it in the addons folder and it seemed to solve my problem permanently. Recently I tried it again and it doesnt work. i re installed it and I decompiled it again and checked and it still doesnt work. even uninstalled the realistic muzzleflashes 3.0 to see if there is any conflict but it wouldnt work. I really like this addon man..any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

you mean you want to edit this? extract the addon file with gmpublisher then learn about source particle editor.
the title of the addon is custom as in "modded to my liking", not customizable.

Most likely there is another addon that overwrites this. Check for addons that edit particle effects like TFARM 3.0.

Only thing i can think of is you have a lot of addons and there is another conflicting muzzleflash addon you missed, if not then sorry have no idea.

With my limited knowledge, afaik the only way rm3.0 can be compatible with this is if the creator makes a tfa only version that doesn't precache arccw particle effects.

@Waffle is arccw base the first addon in the subbed addon list? if it is and you've restarted the game and it still won't work, i'll check on it.

...yes it is safe, it only has particles and materials in it. The arccw reinstall is only to make this addon override arccw's particles and materials since the game loads the most recently installed addon first (game loads arccw -> game loads this addon, overwriting the original particles).
