i got sitrep gog ,foundation ,chaos at same map but only one faction appear in map can you make version 3 faction appear at the same map ? (note i use garantee multiple sitrep mod (reimage)
and setting sitrep per mission to 20 sitrep so you mod faction appear a lot in the list but sadly only one faction at time appear in map)

This mod really needs an option to delay how soon the raider factions can start appearing IMO. I like the mod but if you get unlucky and get a string of back to back missions that all have these sitreps when you still just have rookies and squaddies it can really get unmanageable. I've had several games now where I just resigned myself to save scumming any missions that these guys were on for the first couple of months.

I would suggest an option to make them not appear for the first 2 months, similar to the way LWOTC delays the chosen and MOCX delays the appearance of MOCX so you can get a few missions under your belt, get a few upgrades, and get a few squads ranked up to Sergeant.

genuinely one of the most enjoyable mods I've downloaded. It's super fun and dynamic, makes battles way more interesting, and adds a bit more options to the enemies. Awesome work, super fun

Hello! I'm having an issue where GOC is spawning on Advent's team. Does anyone have a solutiion? Player turn order looks like this:

+PlayerTurnOrder=eTeam_XCom
+PlayerTurnOrder=eTeam_TheLost
+PlayerTurnOrder=eTeam_Alien
+PlayerTurnOrder=eTeam_Resistance
+PlayerTurnOrder=eTeam_Neutral
+PlayerTurnOrder=eTeam_One
+PlayerTurnOrder=eTeam_Two

And all factions have teamchangervalue=0

I must have gotten unlucky with some of my initial testing with the extract corpses mod. Sometimes the game shows the corpse offset from where it actually died, so I initially thought manual extraction didn't work but it does. It's easy to see specifically where the corpse needs to be picked up if you use the Fulton harness.

Also noticed when I was collecting the corpse names for the extract corpses mod that some of your soldier names use inconsistent capitalization. Are those names case sensitive? I assumed not.

@khumak, yes I would reccomend the extract corpses mod, but I remember it not always working correctly with custom modded units. If somebody were to test it out I'd be thankfull.

@Oniwabanshu, what are these new map mods? Would that not be the bug on the side of R&RSS or the newly made maps not having proper spawn zones mapped out?

In my experience the SCP units tend to kind of randomly pick whether to attack advent or the player unless you remain concealed in which case they always attack advent. So in the early game it helps to be sneaky and go find these guys without breaking concealment. Watch them duke it out with Advent and soften each other up a bit, and then you can finish them off.

I had TeamChangerValue=1 for SCP and GOC, but for some reason MTF decided to not only be hostile to me, but also joined Advent. Yes, for whatever reason, MTF is not firing at Advent, but are working along side them. Any idea what's causing this?

After playing around with this some more I think the key for the very early game is to save at least 4 or 5 non rookies for your first mission after gatecrasher that includes SCP units. Personally I have had the best luck taking a team that includes a grenadier, a technical, and an assault since all 3 of those can either guarantee a hit (grenadier and technical) or at least get close to it (assault with run and gun). A templar works really well too if you hit something first so you can use volt. So non SCP missions get the full rookie squad til I have enough squaddies trained up for the SCP missions.

NVM i think i found the problem, the mod "Raiders and Resistance Strategic Spawning" doesn't seem to work with new map mods, it literally doesn't know where to spawn the faction in those new plots.
Maybe worth mentioning the 3 way incompatibility in the description.

@rubeye, There were full salvage missions in LWotc last time I checked. I didn't program droptables of this mod to drop as timed-loot like elerium cores, or to be automatically picked up at mission evac like Alien Ruler corpses. As you noticed it is a temporary fix 3 years in the making, but that refers to a time when third party units were not working as intended when lwotc first released. The rewards being only availible after a full salvage mission is intended, and fully functional. You don't get alien corpses from an evac mission, why would you get overpowered loot from those?

For people complaining about loot drops, I think the way it's set up is for research and/or proving grounds projects to show up after a full salvage mission that includes units from this mod. I'm still in the early game but I have already seen some new research subjects I've never seen before show up after completing research on the Advent Officer autopsy. So far I've had 3 supply raids that included some of the units from this mod.

Not sure how this mod interacts with better advent but I got one of these in my first mission after gatecrasher. Pretty much impossible without save scumming. They do seem pretty cool and the idea that they fight both the player and advent is interesting. Seems like maybe it might be good to restrict them so they don't start appearing for maybe the first month or something though so you're not facing them with a full rookie squad. I'm only playing on veteran in my current game. I hate to think what these guys would ramp up to on Legendary.

Hi Puma...I've tested this mod with (2) different campaigns and I think I know why your faction equipment/resource drops don't work properly with LWOTC. Nearly every mission requires you to EVAC, so the only loot drops you get are what your soldiers pick up (or hack) from the battlefield. Nothing from any SCP Raider Factions are every acquired, except from Full Salvage missions, which are very rare.

I don't know how you programmed their items to "drop" without physically leaving anything for us to pickup, like with Advent's Loot Drops, but they are not registering automatically - most likely due to how every mission ends with an EVAC.

You've said this mod is a temporary fix, and while it works for the most part with LWOTC, the equipment drops are unfortunately not completely functional and are limited to Full Salvage Ops - as far as acquiring them. While disappointing, it won't keep me from playing with this Mod because it adds something new and fun I've never played with XCOM.

So im having the same issue with the loot not dropping properly and I was curious if there is a way to force it to spawn via console commands or just physically add it to my avenger inventory

Hey Puma ... LWOTC player here and it's my first time trying this mod ( or any raider factions ). It's different, fun, and actually quite hilarious ... I had a mission last night with a group of MTF Epsilon-9 ("Fire Eaters") fighting against Advent Purifiers. Needless to say it was amusing watching them flamethrower each other while both being immune to fire.:steamfacepalm:

Anyway, I also encountered the same issue as someone earlier where none of the faction units are dropping equipment. I briefly saw a text display about some loot drops but there was nothing on the battlefield for me to pickup and nothing in my inventory afterwards. I did notice a new Proving Ground project - Maz Hatter Vest Reconstruction - somehow.

I'll keep playing to test it out and maybe it will fix itself after a Full Salvage mission, or maybe start a new campaign again. I'll let you know what I discover.

does Foundation forces have their own uniforms? or do I need to use GOC suits with MTF helmet?

@Gerarderloper, The distiller wasn't supposed to be unique as a reloadable pistol. I propably messed something up with the WeaponData when I was porting the mods to Lwotc ages ago. The 99 clip thing never made sense to me, but firaxis used it as clip size for weapons with infinite ammo, and I never paid much more attention to it. I need to see what I can do to fix that.

as onestrongbow pointed out, the Distiller weapon is bugged, has 99 clip but clearly only fires 5 or so times and then no ability to reload. Looks like someone tried to make it unique but botched reloading instead.

These factions are really cool don't get me wrong, but if we're talking scp universe.... Have you ever thought of diversifying into some SCPs as rulers? Could be fun

@Puma_The_Great I started a new run after some issues in one I was doing, and then I did a full salvage mission, and the drops came immediately after. I'm not sure why though, but it just fixed itself

@Zeth.exe, to change the pod sizes, go to XcomGameData.ini of this mod, and from the line 163 to line 264 you will have all of the pod size configs. For chaos and GOC the pod sizes can also be found in the same file.

I don't know why, but for some reason the units in this mod say they drop their gear, but the after mission report shows none of what they dropped. Even missions that give full salvage give none from the raiders. I don't know why this is. The arsonist mod I have downloaded when killing a purifier can have them randomly drop upgrades for a chemthrower on death the same way these raiders work, but the purifier's dropped upgrade actually appears in the after mission report regardless if it is a full salvage mission or not.

To conduct SCP-related research, what kind of resources are necessary? While playing, I've encountered quite a few SCP, but aside from Sectopod wreckage, I haven't acquired anything.

xcom tranquilizer pistol have some bug. this gun is not infinite ammo.

weird thing is ammo issue was totally random. sometimes it's not infinite. but sometimes pistol ammo is infinite. what should i do?

This mod is super fun! I'm having a blast with it.

However, Dream Team fights are super lengthy late game. Mind control, stasis, AND sustain make for a very annoying combo. I think removing Mind control would help a lot, as they just have too much crowd control and don't even utilize their mind controlled units (they mind control them then just shoot at them anyway).

Is there a way for me to edit their abilities in the ini files?

Didnt realize "Goc controlled area" replaced all enemies with goc. I'll check that INI you mentioned.

When it comes to units not spawning because of strategic spawning, there is not much I can do to fix it.

@Shiro, @RamboLeeNorris, It seems to be a mod conflict between map mods and the Raider strategic spawning mod.

GOC controlled area is just a sitrep that should replace all advent with GOC, but because of enemy mods some alien units still spawn in. It should be named GOCForces in the .ini

Update: I only have the issue of raiders appearing on Advent's team during the sitrep "GOC-controlled area". During other sitreps, suich as "GOC incursion", I have no issues. I cannot find the sitrep "GOC-controlled area" anywhere in the .ini files. Am I missing something?

@shiro can confirm same issue here. Strategic Spawning causes them not to spawn.
