Not sure if VHS: Skill Tapes predates the in-game skilled VHS sets, but some of the series in the list are basically redundant (for example, Carpentry, and Cooking). To that event, I made a set of mods based on this one that extract the more valuable sets:

Skill Tapes: Electrical, Skill Tapes: First Aid, Skill Tapes: Mechanical, Skill Tapes: Metalworking, and Skill Tapes: Tailoring are available as individual mods. I choose these as the most valid, given this skills either unlock recipes, or abilities.

@Alpha Gamer that is normally the case with VHS tapes that give skill.

No, these are new VHS tapes. They aren't tied to the Life & Living TV shows.

I don't seem to be getting any skills from watching these videos anymore. It lowers boredom but doesnt raise skill points. I know there was an update recently, not sure if that had something to do with it

With 41.66 they seem to have added more VHS and now I can't seem find any of them from this mod.

and I found the mod causing the hangup, apparently the mod Fitness VHS Gains (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2710407461) conflicts with this mod, that one is supposed to make the workout tapes give bonus XP to strength and fitness but it overrites the tapes on this mod.

This mod doesn't have any dependencies. Each tape uses unique 32 character IDs for title, subtitle, and any dialog lines. My mod only adds tapes to the vanilla recordedmedia pool and nothing else.

Most likely is you've got another mod messing up Recorded Media.

Im having an issue with this mod, the new tapes do spawn, but when I mouse over them, the description is of a different show (a vanilla tape) and when I play them, its that tape and not a new show, then when the tape is ejected, it becomes that tape. This is on a fresh file but I am curious if this mod has dependencies not listed.

Can you release a version without the extra Cooking, Carpentry, and Mechanics VHS tapes? Carpentry and Cooking already have a full series in game, adding both seems to be completely unnecessary and overpowered.

Thanks for the heads up on the misspellings. I wrote the dialog while sleep-deprived and I guess it shows a bit. LOL

In Episode 3 of The Homestead, "devastation" is spelled "devistation".

In Episode 4 of Patch Perfect, "denim" is spelled "demin" multiple times.

In Episode 1 of Fat Bass Fishing, there's a typo where "line" is spelled "lilne".
I'll mention anymore typos if I find them. Otherwise, this is a fantastic mod, thank you so much.
