The mat file begins with "effect" instead of "material". It appears as though SCS has switched their glass to this method. I used the same content that SCS uses in most of their trucks.

Ah, okay so only the windshield material needs adjusting, not the texture itself. I'll try to have a look at it at some point.

I edited the automat/c9/c9f6ee06c7efe999.mat file. It is referenced from the vehicle/truck/sisu_r500/interior/model.pmd file.

I would post the code from the mat file except that it makes this message exceed the 1000 character limit. In the SCS forum, I also left a message about my Truck Fixes mod, but then the moderators locked the thread. If you request that they reopen the thread, I can post the code there.

If you can change the windshield in the truck mod to use this code, then my mod won't be needed. Obviously, the automat filename will end up being different. I'm sure you will have many users who will be happy to get this fix in the actual truck.

There is a fix available for the striped windshield. Earlier this year, I made a mod called "Truck Fixes" for ATS. It contains fixes for several different trucks. I just now made one for ETS2. It has just one fix in it so far, for the Sisu's windshield. Simply download the file and save it to your mod folder. No need to unpack, it is one simple file, ready to go. In the mod manager, enable it and position it anywhere as long as it is above the Sisu mod. Here is the direct download link for the file:

btw, I deal with the banding/stripes by telling myself that it's a special heated windshield and the conductors just catch the light at some angles. That way it's not a bug, it's a feature and we all win.

Hello! I'm playing on the Euro Truck Simulator 2's experimental 1.55 version and I noticed that while driving in the interior view, if the sun goes into a certain position, you can see lines appear on the front window. I don't know if this issue is present in stable version too or no.

@gustavohsrr, this is actually intended behavior as I have not included any items in the mod that fit said slots. 3rd party mod authors can add suitability lines for their light accessories if applicable or you can add those yourself to the light accessories you need with notepad and some knowledge on how modding works for the game. I intended to release a separate light pack that would add items to said slots but I am unsure when that'll happen (if at all, for the public).

This is what I call great work! It's close to perfection!

The only thing that bothers me a little is that: In the "Roof Deflector" accessories (additional bar at the back of the roof/cabin) and also in the "Rear Cab" (bar at the "back/rear of the cabin") both have a problem: The slots (spaces to place accessories) are unavailable/invalid, that is, instead of a red circle, this is gray with no option to choose/add anything! Once again, great work, but if you could investigate and fix it, I would be very grateful.
