It does spawn, guys, it's just quite rare. Install SKL Dairy alongside this mod to make sure you get at least 1 type of powdered milk

@dallasbeek It works fine now as food items don't actually need a freshness time, sealed cans and flour for example don't have one. The issue was that the game will only give a freshness to crafted food items if one of the ingredients is a food item, the powdered milk originally wasn't, just like the vanilla pancake mix. Seems like it's the case because the game tracks the age of food items regardless of if they actually have freshness, and crafted food items seem require an input item to have an age to get an age value itself.

@fhqwhgads Why not just set the expiration time to the integer ceiling?

@Partis Yeah, this is an unfortunate side effect of changing the item category, it was the only way to work around the freshness bug though. I was thinking TIS might've had a fix for it since it affects vanilla pancakes too, but it's still present.

After this update, all the powdered milk I have collected has disappeared. Have all the existing milk powders been deleted while changing the item properties?

@egg It will work on an existing world, but will only spawn in containers that haven't been looted/areas that haven't been explored yet

hey, will this work / spawn on an existing world (with no loot respawning)? i'd love to bake some cakes but im 2 months in and all the milk is either gone or mouldy :3

@CyrusJazzberry Not at the moment, but it is something I really want to add. It's one of the main ideas I had for this mod, since it would essentially make milk a renewable resource in the game, but I'm not sure how to add items to foraging yet.

Would these happen to be found during foraging?

@o0Zeke0o Yeah, sorry for kinda slacking on adding to this. My main focus recently is my car mods, but will probably relax on the car mods after I release them in a pack, and broaden my focus.

Evaporated/condensed milk are very America-heavy things, so I think it fits really well - and having a non-perishable can open into a perishable opened can adds some difficulty.
