Those are good ideas! If someone could provide the art in the correct RimWorld atlas texture format I'd be happy to update the mod with medieval and/or tribal graffiti.

@ALE199-ITA that would be sick. I would love to see my vikings angrily write runes on the wall or something like that.

Hmm for medieval/tribal graffiti you could add a check to make it so if the colony Research Tier is in either Medieval or Tribal to use X textures. Althought it is pretty complicated

Looks really interesting mod, i was thinking this would be a great mental break feature, making invasive graffiti as negative beauty to the room that takes a long time to clean up. Imagine someone painting "JUST DIE" with a corpse with X's for eyes in the hospital, lol.

Looks really good! I'm wondering if it could scale off of art stat for beauty (though probably still uglier than actual art). Like masterwork graffiti, etc.

I'd really love it if there was an added ideology value for desiring graffiti. It would still be ugly to other ideologies but your own would expect a certain amount of graffiti with related mood buffs/ debuffs.

Also tagging sculptures, statues, pillars and those sort of objects would be very nice! Maybe ruins could generate with some graffiti already done too.

Sorry to make so many requests all at once its just I didn't realize how much I wanted a mod like this until I saw it today! Its such a great mod idea!

If you haven't seen it yet you should check out game-icons.net . Lots of free to use icons that could easily be worked into some graffiti or wall art. You probably don't need it considering what you've already got going, but if you need some help with making those work feel free to message me

Kilroy was across all branches of the military. It even was used by nearly all allied countries at some point.

If I feed my colonists crayons will they draw Kilroy more often, or was Kilroy an army thing?

so does the tech of the colonist changes the grafiti made?
would be cool if tribal draws those stickman cave drawings and hand prints
and then higher tech levels draw other cool stuff

Love the idea, looking forward to a wall art update. Commanding "Commission Mural" after clicking a wall should add flair to drab spaces. Maybe an event too, "Wandering Artists/Vandals" who paint either good/bad graffiti on accessible walls.

how do you remove the grafity?

It would be super cool to see pawns spray paint the icon for their ideologion as like a kind of revolutionary thing. Like the unhappy pawns from a non-dominant ideoligion expressing their disgust for THE SYSTEM (maaaaaaaaan) with paint.

A few; firstly, maybe pawns that are of a non-dominant ideology should produce graffiti. Secondly, high art skill pawns that haven't recently produced art should make graffiti.

You could also make younger pawns produce graffiti more. Maybe also add a street artist trait/meme that causes pawns with it to produce graffiti regardless of mood, and make the street artists enjoy its presence.

@Tucureborn Sounds good! The only limit are my art skills.

I'd love to see this expanded to tribal graffiti as well. It could be a bit jarring when a tribal or medieval guy pulls out a can of paint, but perhaps crude neolithic drawings, or medival can have eggs and fruit they throw at the wall?
