The build works great. You’re probably not playing Reforged Eden, which is what this build is for.

Yeah it depends which ore you’re mining. When the storage was 4,200, you could fill it up with nearly any ore. At the now storage of 7,500, heavier ores need to be monitored for max lift weight.

It’s a trade off for sure. Personally, I like having the extra space, even though it can’t always be used with all ores. If you’re in space, you can fill it up, just make sure to waypoint your base & drop in there.

Current version gets a little too heavy when nearing full and has a much harder time moving around underground. Still a good ship but will be saving an older version from dated savegame for actual use. Still workable but have to hold O to right it's orientation a lot more often since side thrust zeros out entirely at full cargo now.

Save a lot of time for me on solo start, thx a lot for such miner!

New player, gotta say this SV miner is wonderful as a starter ship. Cheap enough BP you can get it quick and level 7 required is easy. Great to destroy the giant rock pillars for XP (and the smaller gray rock mounds that give more XP). Easy to get to level 25, plus tons of crushed stone or drill out deposits. Its shape is also ideal to not get stuck very often.. but if you do, just remember that "O" auto-level is your friend! You can also use it for the boulders of cobalt, which helps acquire cobalt on starter planets. My only complaint is a lack of a constructor, so a place for one to add later would be ideal.

BP Updated: Extended in length by 1 block & INCREASED harvest storage from 4,234 to 7,500!!

Reforged Eden only build. Standard vanilla Empyrion doesn’t allow mechanical drills on an SV.

it say prohibited blocks , why? playing 1.8 survival single player

They take time to warm up, if it’s parked in space. Just like a car in real life, it’s not instant warm. That’s normal game function in all versions of Empyrion.

Freezing in space, what gives? O2 tank is full and on and the thing looks airtight.

BP UPDATED: Harvest storage increased from 1900 to 4200+ by extending the ship length by 1 block!

Subbed and went to create it and it says it contains a forbidden block. Any ideas?
