I used a stopwatch to time it and it works both sitting on floor and chair (with true acrtions). It takes 4.5 seconds while sitting which is 70% of 6.4 seconds while standing.

Is there a possibility to add an option to remove the extra rate from sitting?
Is possible to remove this just changing the 0.7 rate to 0.0 in the addon files?

This mod is outdated / not written with compatibility in mind - use one of the other walk while reading mods.

Agreed. Read While Walking uses it's own API, switched over to that just now

This mod overwrites a vanilla file with a copy of it's own. This will break any other mod loaded before it that makes safe changes to the vanilla file's functions.

There are other mods that do faster reading while walking or sitting - I would just use those.

BUG: Clashes with other mods. I think it's the faster reading when sitting down aspect, which scans for "is sitting on ground", not in furniture (True Actions).

I would not use this mod as is, there's other mods that do the same. Nothing against the modder as a person, but they overwrite vanilla files causing bugs for other mods.

Does anyone know if the "faster reading while sitting down" part of this mod works with the True Actions mod letting you sit on chairs or beds?

Press escape if you wish for you to no longer read in a book, also I have been dealing with some issues with this mod besides that obvious one.

Doesn't appear to work. The second I try moving, my character puts the book away.

Instead of "M13", I'm thinking of trying out the "Read While Walking" mod first (by star [author]). It's new (Aug 7th) and seems simpler.

Same problem, I put it in an already created game with other mods but it doesn´t seems to work, dk if is compatibility problems :/

I can't seem to get this mod to work. When I read a magazine, book, etc. it cancels the reading. Any help would be great!

I do hope Chuck's issue gets addressed! If it's not vital, it'd go a long way to secure compatibility.

Please do not include a copy of IsReadABook in your mod(s). It's causing incompatibility issues with other mods. You can store the default process and call on it as a local variable.

Also, if you delete the file now Steam's updater will not also delete the file -the way to avoid this is to leave the file in but make it blank with a comment.

For those who find this OP in servers, the situation is ALSO that you have to consider, Multiplayer servers happen to have longer days usually, or shorter. If its shorter, this is a bit much, yes. But often servers also have longer times. The server I am recommending this for, it has a 4 hour day. That is a longer time it takes than it does on a normal time setting, if im not mistaken. If not, the situation is still that people get on a server to actually play with other people. Being stuck in one location sucks man.

Love this mod, makes MP without fast reader more enjoyable, just sneaking in a few pages while going to the location your team agreed upon, thank you!

Also great in the house, going around with a book in hand, makes it feel more lively.

Player asked to consider adding this to MP server, after reading this it's a bit OP. Reading while walking in general is dangerous but doing it during a zombie apoc? Come on... messes with game balance too much. Thnks for mod'ing for the game though. ;)

Same as below comment. Should heavily reduce vision while walking and reading, and there should be a config to disable reading speed while sitting, and this view distance change

Can I suggest a version of the mod that reduces your vision while reading?

I have the Distracted Driving mod too which probably doesn't help

Anyone else having an issue with losing xp multiplier from already read book and not being to read them again. Looking at the code it's the only mod that play with these and possibly conflicting since it modify the whole ISReadABook.lua file.

Since the whole ISReadABook.lua is in this with one line of change, it may be better to just override the one function changed?
