i think i encounter a problem where when i read any book, i dont get exp but i just flip the page faster.. im not encounter this on vanilla and i turned off this mod and turns out its because of this mod, spesificly. anyone encounter something similar? thanks

Mod works with no issues. Not sure why people are having such problems. They are probably not adding it to the server mod menu.

ebalsya, you can literally manually change how fast books are read in multiplayer, you don't need a mod for it

Moment i saw the smiley cat reading book i had to get the moment and only found out later what it was. Cool mod definitely recommend it

Probably some sort of mod conflict but i've found if you encounter a bug where you can't read the regular book mod disabling this mod seems to work. I'll post logs if anyone cares enough to further bug test it i guess

Dos this mod affect the duration of the skill books, I remember reading that as long as you did not level past the book, the bonus should keep applied, but my character lost the XP bonuses after a day or so

pls leave a note in description that the mod doesnt work with "cdda reading". It blocks gaining exp directly

For me it's working fine.
Sitting while reading a book with 220 sites (vol1) is done within seconds (local game, with fast-forward).

I deactivated all other "fast reading mods" and had only this one active.

Walking while reading works fine, but reading skill book while sitting not yielding faster time. jut clocked it at 2 minutes 13 seconds while sitting, Mechanics Vol 1. im not complaining tho, still hella faster than normal.

1:The mod work perfectly fine in singleplayer.
2: work in multiplayer
3: you can install it in a mid game.
4: i want to rememberr you this: Skill books (sitting, YOU NEES TO SIT) = 1 minute 20 seconds (55 seconds with fast reader trait, YOU NEED THE FAST READER TRAIT).
5: i recommend you to create a new world just because yes xd

Walking while reading doesn't work with multiplayer when using the 'CDDA reading' mod. However, you still receive the bonus experience while sitting.

You don't even have to restart the server.

type in /reloadoptions

But this mod doesn't just change the reading speed. It offers more features :o!

But yes if all you wanted to do was change the speed. DOWNTOWN has a lovely solution. I diddn't know this
