if you have theme mixer 2 this needs to be set to Phoenix theme

When I load up the map it has a smattering of stones, a few bushes, and the landscape is green rather than desert, and I do have Environment Changer, and whilst my custom theme is set to Phoenix, I don't have a desert option for the base map theme, so it defaults to Tropical. @skaffamang024 your not loading the theme correctly. you need to use Environment changer or theme mixer 2 to select the theme required

I am just start the map, but my map is quite dark and green and not the dessert. I am a noob with mods so I don't know how to fix this issue. Anybody here who can help?

i believe its a district theme not a map theme

@E6GSY: To be sure, I'm speaking about the theme named 'Rural US res' in the district manager I saw OverchargedEgg use, however there's no mod with such name.

@E6GSY: Ah silly me. So I've checked it, and the Phoenix theme is enabled with the tropical environment as well.

@maliwannabe, you can change the theme whenever you want, it wont effect game play

I do have the Phoenix theme installed, previously I ended up with 2x American electic in the list for some reason so I deleted one of them - could it have been the rural one which the game misread? As I am in the middle of a city there are no chances of making changes with the environment mod.

@maliwanabbe the theme is the phoenix theme. its in the required items. if your game is struggling to find it maybe use environment theme changer mod to select the theme in a drop down box when starting the city

@grayphoenix564 if you read it, it just tells you that there are duplicates in the road and rail packs. nothing game breaking. just ignore it

Gorgeous map and assets! In a video using this map I saw the theme 'Rural US res' being used and quite like it. Where can I find this exact theme? To be sure I subscribed to all mods used for the map however no such theme shows up under the themes manager.

Nice map. Not many great looking desert maps, so this one not only look realistic but also very build able to create Texas 2 :)

SimDoughnut. Either sets should work fine just not both. When the map created the new anarchy mods were not available

Absolutely love your map it's so incredibly immersive. I'm using it for a "Strangeville" style West Texan city.. I would note though that the map requirements say the map requires Unlimited trees and Prop and Tree Anarchy but Prop Anarchy and Tree Anarchy handle all of these features. Not exactly sure which I'm supposed to use to enjoy the map properly. Have Fun :)!

This is the best map I have ever played. Something funky is happening to this particular rail intersection though. I am 100% certain it is one of my other mods or assets, but I'm at a loss as to which one(s). Anyone have an idea? Very similar to Phoenix with the 10, 17, 60, 101, 202!

Looking at many Southwest US deserts (and specifically Phoenix, AZ, US) which Overcharged Egg, Eg6sy, AND Carina used/is using for inspiration, Ilos Map and it's theme is actually very accurately made!
1. the highway systems that loop,
2. the Interchange types,
3. the endless flat areas with square mile grids that are surrounded by desert mountain ranges,
4. the dry riverbeds located after a dammed riverbed,
5. 90˚ dried river beds,
6. The vegetation and theme, etc....

We know its not your cup of tea, but thats not what I'm talking about. If you rate maps on attention to detail, then you should have attention to detail. City fans looks like your doing all the right things. I would check the settings in the unlimited tree mod that’s required. Maybe ensure all the assets are enabled too. If not that I would say there is a mod clash somewhere.

This is a great looking map, however I'm not getting any vegetation. All I see are the large shrubs, there aren't any cactuses or trees.

I am subscribed to all the required mods and assets, and everything is enabled. I'm also using the "Tropical (Don't Change)" map theme and the "Phoenix" custom map theme. Any tips? Thanks!

Tim-e-bear this map doesn’t have any asymmetrical roads on it. If you mean in game then you may need to wait till they are unlocked or potentially they have a mod or asset missing

I am unable to bring up any of the roads. The freeways work, but I cant bring up the roads (american asymmetrical, etc.) Any idaeas?

You need to subscribe to the collection enable all the mods and have mass transit

Istanasaleha you need to have the environment changer mod active and manually check that the Phoenix Theme is selected. Ignore the warning as it’s just to tell you the original theme isn’t available

I can't get this to load the phoenix theme with it? I get an error saying something like "custom map theme missing, using default instead"

I have the theme installed, I have easily used custom themes before. Is there a dependency I'm missing? Or a mod conflict?
