I have an update in the works, but the way they made the red dot makes it very tricky todo, I'm running various tests to remove the tedious skybug that it brings.

Is there a way to get simple small red dots like you show in the pictures ? when not.. when can we get an update from you for it ?

I really enjoy this mod, and will probly use it indefinately. Only things I dislike are that they are square, and I honestly would like it if you made them even smaller.

yes the point of the sights is to aim down as fast as possible, and crosshairs work for most people, personally i hate them though.. and what you see on the pictures are the first edition.. it had plenty of problems however and i don't even think i have it left on my computer. i will propably make them all about the same size and color in due time, it is however very fiddly to do so.. in due time and your points have been noted though.

Alright anyway I prefer 十 for 2x , ^ for 1x and red dot for square Scope now. I simply aware this is very unclear. Coz in fact the scope in game is totally not the same as the picture u showed. And as u can see my favorite mods list there's the best scope for c79 ever I've been tried honestly, which is also smaller 十 scope !!! By the way, for my opinion scope kind of something does not need some good looking and all same but we do need as quickly as possible aim to our enemies once in battles, isn't it ? For these so much words I wrote, I know my English is not so good ( I usully write a lot for some good authors as I like ) but all I wish is u could know what was not good enough. However, I like your all in one mod style. Also I do the same thing as weapon skin, coz it's easy !!!

i also hate the red color, it makes me look crosseyed, so red is out of the question i'm afraid. its either dark blue and white or black and white.

on the contraire white and black actually works better than red.

I feel the color does not like so good because it has red in the dot but there is a white circle around the outer and for 8.7x MK4 & C79 scope those two change to blue dot which let me feel very very uncomfortable !!!

No, that would be very not clealy. I feel Red like original style with little bit transparent but also smaller than it because it is easier to aim.

Well I feel that black and white is feels good, I might go back to that..

Look unless you specifically want to add or remove something to the original, just start from scratch its easier, if you want to modify the excisting one, well enjoy spending an hour removing everything and possibly recoloring it and readding an alpha layer. I will give you one hint though, remove then additive effect in the vmt files, caused me alot of problems.

I use GCFscape, but yes the original sight is messed up, and it's tricky to extract but with the power of photoshop and gimp it's possible.

Hey dude, whenever I open the VTF files for the default red dot sight, all I get is a black square. Can you tell me how you opened the VTF?

I agree, I prefer it when it black and white but you can't please everyone.

Doesn't work for me, I subscribe and all I get is a little red box with white outline as my sight. Doesn't look or work very well at all. Dunno what's going on.

It used to be smaller, but people complained it wasnt visible enough. I do have plans to reduce the 7x scope reticle smaller though.

there was a bug within INS that you couldn't update the workshop files.. just subscribe and you get the same file now.

I find it a bit shady that you want us to go to a third party website to download a new version of your reticule. Unofficial mods will get us vac banned

good sight for some situtions. needs better distinction,- black outline???

your idea is the best I think but for me the dot is in white color and I would like in red . white is not good for light zone .

Make it for iron sights too. That would be really nice for some of the guns with crappy, cluttered, sights that cover your whole screen *cough cough* Mk18 *cough cough*

As far as i can tell its the same process, just locate where you have it installed and install it into the custom folder, if it doesnt exist create it.

Like I can extract the files just fine (LPK, use The Unarchiver for Mac on .rar, great little app) but the location to extract (in the game's content files) doesn't exist on mac, I think it's kept in some DRM secured folder or cached through Steam's files or something like that?

Download the unofficial patch and you'll get just that.

Try red or green dot. They're the two most visible colors to our eyes. Plus, there isn't much green in Insurgency.

Download the unnofficial patch for various fixes and enjoy the mod.

Mr SFSF-KSA just press the 'Subscribed' button with the tick and you will unsubscribe.
Then restart your game.

great mod, I have to say though that i think red would be a much better choice. Just played heights and it's impossible to see the sight against the white sky background.
