Does this mod still works?

i've loaded into a fresh world/server (havent used a crossbow or found one yet though just walked around to check what errors pop up) and just checked console and saw this as some of the first errors

anyone else getting these two stack trace errors?

that was something i inherited from the original mod and never wrapped my head around. I have some theories,but so far none work.will upload the 0 noise mod,gimme 10 minutes

It's not necessary but that would be appreciated. Are you able to fix the lack of bolts on bodies or is that going to cause issues in MP?

yes it is! I was checking and it seems it gets multiplied by britas,so a 200% mod means the originally quiet is now loud as hell. i can make a second,0 noise version if you want/need to use 200% brita multiplier.

Maybe its my brita settings, I have firearms turned up to 200%. Is that making the crossbows loud as hell?

wird,i tuned the noise down to 10(very quiet) must be some whack brita settings, ill take a look

Can't retrieve bolts and they are still louder than guns, I fire a bolt and every zombie within the town is coming towards me

works fine on MP :) - still cant retrieve bolts from dead bodies tho, unlucky. Great mod otherwise

For what I can tell, the mod is till working in solo play.

hows it going with the mod? ive used another kitsunes crossbows mod but when i tried to shoot i got like 50 errors, does this one have that too? XD

Unfortunately, we can only cancel the subscription because of the error reporting problem. I hope we can fix the error reporting problem of the module when we have free time.

am getting these stack trace errors on initial zomboid load for the crossbow. can still load into the game. pretty sure i even have one of these crossbows too (used it, looks the same, but I think Brita's Weapons adds crossbow also unsure tho only ever found the one)

Hey I appreciate you for fixing this mod up! I have one question, as I can not get bolts to show up after shooting a zombie. On the 21st you said that bolt recover is not working. Is that still the case?

I was(and still am) tired and exhausted, and just fixed the "fix" that was not working, so i did not delve into the code.

@GHOST_ECHO I'm sorry to say that but I cannot agree with you. Since this is a copy of "Remastered Kitsune's Crossbow Mod" of mine, then recipies for making bolts (both wooden and metal) are already available in game, after you find magazines with recipies. And I never removed them. With all respect, you should sometimes at least check what you copied (the mod code) Cheers!

I agree with you, making a recipe wouldn't be too hard tho,making a coherent one might take braincells. Will try to think something through the weekend,life is kinda overwhelming me atm

@GHOST_ECHO Thanks for your quick answer, you're awesome. On another note I guess that being capable of crafting our own bolt, even forging them, would be the whole point of using a crossbow, " easy " findable ammunition.

The mod works fine, I just have a couple of question. I've been wondering about crafting bolt for the crossbow, is that possible ?

This mod does work. Just make sure you don't have any of the other 4 versions of this mod that don't work installed.

Other remaster mod has been updated, not really sure which one is better to use at the moment

@makineye yes,its a fix for the other fix posted here. dont activate both.
@rasputin yes you can find all of the crossbows and bolts in the map, and even on zombies

aye I know ghost, it's kinda luck of the draw what works in the end I find. When all else fails usually the 3rd thing works. Il sort it tomorrow when I have abit of time, was a long day 07

If its a server you are trying to run, delete the workshop acf file,it usually fixes this kind of thing on my end

Found I cant get it to work since despite deleting the files, resubing, unsubing and so on. Same old crap with steam.... you'd think they'd fix this crap.

Broke it with your update, but I will see if the good old resub, delete and so on fix's it or not...
