All the other aircraft have recieved upgrades to make them faster, this one unfortunately hasn't. There was work to upgrade it, however it's slowed down because quite frankly it's being a complete pain in the ass to do

That sometimes happens unfortunately, I can't really fix it, pretty much a limitation of stormworks.

I really want to make something similar to this, but am frustrated by my inability to install windows well :( Also front-back pilot/gunner instead of side by side.

rudder certainly needs to be changed, it just doesn't like to turn. But otherwise a really nice concept design.

@Kacix68, the bold text saying "Modular Weapons Set" will take you to the AW270 Modular Weapons Set, which is fully compatible.

UPDATED:
- Added "locking" system to the throttle to prevent using too much RPS causing instability without any load attached.
- Improved pitch PID

Ok, describe exactly what's happened through out, I'll try to replicate it and get a fix. Note that if you fight the PID while correcting instability, you will tend to flip, if you have gotten into instability, nose down and start going forwards.

agreed with RenTheOriginal. First time trying to takeoff got into some pitch instability, and eventually it just flipped upsidedown. I haven't tweaked physics detail from default as on a 5600X; so that's not the problem.

It would be cool to see a troop deployment variation of this, something a bit more like the MV-38 Condor from Battlefield 2042.

This thing is fine but when I bring her down to slow speeds, even with the fine adjustment turned on, this thing will go into uncontrollable pitches and crash.

Hey, unfortunately the boat in question is quite literally a static prop, it's unable to move or anything right now and I doubt it will get finished any time soon, I could probably dm you the file if you wanted to though?

UPDATE: As recommended by @123, autopilot yawing has been improved, it should have a lot more authority & yaw amount is dependant on speed as well as proximity to GPS coordinate.

Possibly, you could remove the sliding doors and add the guns there, or the forward 2x2 windows you could be able to add them

The autopilot should work, make sure you've pressed the button & inputted coordinates, the autopilot does take a short while to steer to a target, however it does work, thankyou!
