Yeah same problem, unable to play on the server due to very high ping, so really looking forward to use it in solo world.

I can't wait for the solo conversion, I can't do server stuff unfortunately ... so this will be awesome. I'd love to see this available for small grid as well if possible!

How did you guys get this to work? No matter where i load it in the mod order it gives fatal errors and does not load.

Both the armoured lights are aligned wrong and dont work - they cant illuminate their own block or surface they are placed on. The model was aligned on the green UP axis however lights are placed on the center of the blue FORWARD axis, which means all light sources end up inside the models. Changing the offset just moves the light source laterally inside the grid, even for half block. Cant be fixed without the block model - so only the creator can fix this by re-doing it with the correct alignment. Could you provide the model?

the server still exists its just on a new version- this mod still exists as many people who played on the original server still occasionally use it- including some friends of mine

as stated several times the standalone will come but i am working at my own pace for free so itll get there when it gets there. my commisions and life come first

I am not responsible for people adding this to their world- it is very easy to see that its server specific and there are hundreds more mods like it on the workshop. In addition it flags up errors on the very first load of it when loaded without the servers other mods- making it even more obvious, if people decide to ignore those errors and keep playing anyway causing corruptions that is their choice.

I am not causing grief by having this public- its clearly stated that its designed for a server and that a standalone is planned for. I apologise if that is not clear enough for you.

... designed for sigma expanse server does not specify it will brick your space engineers game and mod files(requiring a complete wipe and reinstall) or that it will cause problems for anyother mod pack or individual download, my previous statement remains. resolve this or i will personally issue a takedown on it in 1 month - your causing greif.

This can be made private and then as a dependency of something else.

it needs to be public for the players to add it to their private build worlds- so it stays public, i do make it clear in the description so it wont hurt people to read :)

respectfully then if its exclusive to one shingle server it shouldnt be listed in the global steam mod domain for se, the mod should be specified as private or pulled from the steam listing and posted on github instead

this mod works- its just not designed to work solo- its designed to work on the expanse server. the standalone will come eventually but im very busy IRL so an eta is impossible

qiualifiably the mod author does exist but logically he should scrap and remake the project as its unfixable in its current state, probably a heckin lot easier sense he alreqady has all the resource files he needs crafted out
-if the mod maker doesnt notify of a new project or update ill flag it to be removed 1 month from now

what i do mean is he was hard at work trying to either illiminate the dependency or repair his code in the first place
a:he has a life
b:you didnt pay him a single fucking penny
c:you cant code and lack the iq required to do so.

bottom line:: hes not lazy, just busy. more then likely hes been working on it tentatively for the last 3 months. your kind of comments invokes mod makers to remove their mod; and in this happenstance - id be inclined to let him.

Got a problem with "(correct) loading mod", as in-game window said. That made my pc stuck on that window, than, after reloading computer and starting game, the game just crashed.

the first line states it was designed for draconis servers- the last line states that a standalone version is WIP- kinda speaks for itself

its simple, and easy to indicate in mod description [ preferbly at beggining ] that mod is ONLY for particular server, i will not even mention about extra requirements that you did specify in comments but not in description
and if you use - standalone - wording, everybody assume that is independed of design for server or extra requirements
i have no problem people puting server mods in steam, i have problem that description dont specify that, or like in this ocassion, totally oposite
have in mind that we still do aprecaite your work, good modders are always good to have, i presume is just simple missunderstanding

Well AngelMarc this was made to work on the server it was created for and it works fine on there.
It is doing exactly what it is meant to.

I'm happy to take suggestions but if a mod isnt being used as the mod author intended that's not my fault.

There will be standalone variants of this eventually and some parts allready do, check out my workshop and sargonnas'

sorry man, nothing personal, but it pisses me off when someone makes something public and then you realise you have half working mod that is causing all sorts of problems, either make it properly or hide, there is enough of bolox in steam mods for SE
