DON'T SET IT TO MAX
I have a 4060. Not a 4090, a 4060. Anyway,
I set it to max, on a snow map, and it simply stopped. It didn't crash instantly, (I had to do that,) but it just stopped.
Don't set it to max.

Wish it didn't destroy grass (you should get to that, it might help for it to only destroy white voxels), but if you want to crash your game crank all the settings to max, I do not prefer that from experience. Still good though. :)

It depends on how much time you have. (I don't know of an efficient way that would do it quickly in one go)

Perhaps the new object spawning could help, butI suspect there's no way to place snow back and it is baked into the level at start.

Usually you get a not responding issue on map loading if something is taking forever in init. I'm not sure why that would happen in this case. I would check disabling other mods on the off chance it helps. My next choice would be to add debugprints in the init of this one to see if it ever gets to each line.

Every time I try and load a map with this enabled, it cannot load and gets stuck "not responding". Any obvious reasons that I'm being blind to?

nice! only issue i found was that when removing snow it also lowers the vehicles health which is a bit of a shame.
