if you are using Vanilla Expanded medieval, there is a plant you can grow that has chemfuel

@Penguinire

Thanks. Yeah, as Optimus said, for now you'll have to milk boomalopes or possibly buy from traders--I don't think chemfuel is strictly forbidden by eg Rimedieval or VFE Medieval. That being said I could try to add patches for a few common mods, maybe try to replace the chemfuel cost with coal from Argon's More Metals, or charcoal from Apothecary. Could add a "fish oil" that is harvestable from Vanilla Fishing Expanded or something too.

The other thing--which was my original inspiration with the "Greek Fire" was to make a "quicklime" resource harvestable from limestone. Could also do like a "pitch" resource harvestable from wood.

I would like to do all that, but am working on catapult compat right now.

All that being said, I actually also don't really like the milking boomalopes solution to get chemfuel to make bombs, especially in a medi playthrough.

You can milk boomalopes.

Good day and nice work on the mod but i am not sure i am missing something with my modlist but i am trying to have medieval play through with remove industrial stuff mod so there is no way of getting chemfuel in these mods i mashed together haha so is there a way to change the recipe or some kind of way to make medieval oil to be used instead?
Thank you and keep up the good work ^^
