Took a while to identify this as the infinite thread culprit, but it's just a missing comma in the recipe.txt file under "recipe Make Thread".

Change "keep Scissors" to "keep Scissors,"

BUG: I'm crafting infinite threads because my 8x denim strips wont be discarded after the craft. THe only other Tailoring mod I'm using is Tailoring Fix.

Could somebody suggest mod that increase clothe patch benefits? In vanilla 10 level of tailoring give you 10% from patching your clothe (with leather).

I want increase this number from 10% to 30%

눈_눈's comment helped a lot. Due to omitted comma in the mod's recipe.txt, you should edit the mod's recipe.txt. FYI go to mod's directory (ex:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2678430672\mods\TailorOverhaul\media\scripts >>>> open recipe.txt >>>> add , after

could you split the mod into recipes and loot tables? it really conflicts with other tayloring mods, and I really like to find needles and thread, seems very grandma-like.

I found an exploit, cutting denim strips into thread doesn't cost anything, making it an infinite source of tailoring xp, at least in singleplayer

Hey! I'm having a bug, added the mod on top of a save and also installed tailoring fix.
For starters the recipes from description are incorrect and I can't make thread from regular strips, just denim ones, I make a whole twine from a single thread and a single thread from a unit of twine.
Secondly and it's kinda game breaking: creating a twine from a denim strip doesn't consume it and I can do it indefinitely.

@Sego hello, i have a problem. I cant get tailoring xp at all, i have your mod installed, tried disabling it and still no luck. I have everything necessary and i keep patching and de-patching clothing and i dont get any xp, i am stuck on 6.25 xp and i have a 3x multiplier book, what should i do? (i dont know if its something with your mod or other tailoring mod)

Sheet rope can be crafted from almost any cloth in game, i'll change it when devs will change it. It's simple if you can craft sheet rope from socks in vanilla, but you will have to find more socks in mod it will be downgrade, so I added conversion

Please add candle wax to the rope recipe, and change the sheet rope recipe to 8 sheets, because you can just indefensibly craft sheetropes into sheets and then into thread and more ripped sheets to make those

ah ok, 5 units is one item, and 8 sheets makes 1 thread, this is the most realistic mod out of them all i did some proper testing, it makes sense you only get a bit of thread out of a whole ripped up shirt because clothing only has a few threads, usually near edges of shirt and under arms, around neck to help strengthen the clothing and hold it together, so only some, decent thick thread can be reclaimed, im not sure i havnt tried this irl but i assume so.

Just want to give props to this developer! Literally every time PZ updates, this mod updates along with it. That is really cool.
