@Muchtoodog Yeah, that addon does work and has a few more features, but it also breaks TFA base. The mod author said they would fix it in the middle of May and now it's almost July :v

yeah the addon is gone now, rip used it since i first got gmod

For the record: The addon was simply called 'Half-Life 2 Settings'. It had stuff like altering the movement speed to be in line with how it is in Half-Life 2, a suit energy meter for sprinting and diving under the water, difficulty settings, enabling/disabling of the flashlight, enabling/disabling drowning, and default ammo limits. Stuff like that. Was unfortunate to see it gone but got a portion of it back with this addon here. :D

I was looking for something like this after an addon that I was using to reduce movement speed went and vanished on me. Hate how fast player characters run in this game.

@israelito is your walking speed 190? you can check that using cl_showpos 1 command.

was talking to the person below, its a problem with the shrinkinator mod and not your mod so dont worry about it

Well i dont think theres anything i can do about it

idk if you ever figured it out but the shrinkinator player resizer thing conflicts with pretty much anything movement related

my speed 400 if i run if i walk 220

no i dont use conflicting mods

@KOT VADIK It works fine for me, make sure you don't have enabled any conflicting mods.

why dont work?

Usually it had this speed in the latest 9th version Garry's Mod back in 2005, until it got re-released in 2006 for the 10th version, the movement went a little faster until later in 2008 the movement was totally changed after all entirely different. The good ole years.
