it should, but I don't have a mac, but if you can install mods, then yes.

it works for everything, just place it on top of your mod order, it's compatible with everything
i'm sure it's working, place it above ANY other mod.
ignore any warning about incompatibilities, it will work!

I noticed that about 95 % of my army dies without any bloodstains due to just taking a hit and not being much affected by the spurt. larger units with more health like elites, barbarians, cavalry carry a greater chance of being covered in blood because they sustain more hits that trigger the spurts.
however ordinary units die after just 1 and appear very much bare. :)
If you got any tips on how to alter this myself I'm open to a good piece of advice.:)
it doesn't matter since they don't overwrite the same files and the bloodmod is very likely to be compatible with 99.99% of mods out there. In any case, I always use the following load order:
1 - blood mod
2 - gameplay mod (any submod)
3- big mod (RIS; Chivalry; LOTR...)
