You're right, I was just playing Halo 3 today and noticed it's completely different. I have no Idea how I found this but I'll update the description

The Halo 3 Longsword is much less detailed than this, it definitely did not come from that game. I checked the game files myself.

When I first saw it, I thought it was from Halo CE originally but i found it in halo 3

I'm pretty sure that Longsword model is from Halo 2 Anniversary, it's definitely not from Halo 3.
