Does anyone else have trouble with the mod using DLC?

How it works:
-Have 1 seed of any type of plant (1 seed = 1 kg of a seed)
-Store an arbitary number between 0.001 and 0.999 kg of a seed inside a hauling point
-Use the remaining seed amount by planting it inside a planter box or let a Pip plant said fraction of a seed.
-Do the same with the other half by deleting the hauling point.
-Result: 2 plants for 1 seed.
This can be re-done indefinitely. Especially strong on non-replicatable plants like Oxyferns and Wheezeworts without Care Packages or even Saturn Critter seeds or Sporechid seeds, which can't be gained through Care Packages
