I mean, the portal 2 ending invokes those nostalgic feelings for me. I don't think it's unlikely that a lot of people feel nostalgic about that ending. Exploring a nostalgic area in a game you were never meant to explore can feel liminal to a lot of people. Just because you never meant it to be liminal doesn't mean that it's not gonna feel that way to some.

There is no official map of this area, as the ending cutscene of Portal 2 is pre-rendered. It's a video basically.

I think the actual map existed but garry (creator of gmod) dint´ported the map to garry´s mod alongside with portal 2 content;
Some games maps simply din´t got enough care.
Some l4d2 maps are un-finished,
Only l4d1 maps are kinda finished.
TF2 ones are finished.
