Also here's my idea for a new gum:
Demonic Confrontator: This is rather simple... It has one activation where you summon a random Zombie type upon activation but the twist is that it will always give that enemy's specified drop (Hellhound = Max Ammo etc.) the only exception is a basic zombie... This will drop any power-up that can be dropped by a zombie (Like an I'm Feelin' Lucky)
i believe that this is caused by a "trigger" for the upgrade being set for when you pick up the sword after filling the egg with souls. when you already have the sword you can not put the egg into the sword and then pick it up, stopping you from hitting the "trigger" to spawn the keepers that give you the next egg for the sword upgrade.
this is probably a really nitche issue and wouldn't be worth the effort to fix but if you did, that would be pretty cool.
