Or does it have a way of staying compatible even when it hasn't been updated?
I have LWOTC and the original interrogation and recruitment; just thinking about these add-ons to expand the unit options but I'm unsure if things will break if I don't also have the playable aliens which I don't want
When i did try the basic stuff against them , i did discover that they cannot be stun outside of stase (riot ammo doesn't work) and they are fully immune to any psy effect ability including mind control and panic.
I didn't try to bind them with normal viper so maybe that work?
Downside, I never figured out how to make a proving grounds project to make them "buildable" in a controllable way instead of them stuffing up your barracks on each load. Also they need proper classes.
But in terms of recruiting them via Allies Unknown, You can configure that within AUR:V itself if you wan't to remove that option entirely.
