@Lint5 - are there plans to update this and the VRO patch for the new flight model?

These ships mean a lot to me too, to the point I can't really play without them, especially the Apollo. I've played throughout 7.0 no problem, but I'm worried the flight model update (and rebalance) will break it. I hope it will stay updated, and thank you

I love both this mod and the ships in it.
But I love the ships more.

Ever since X3:R the Paranid had a special place in my heart. Their deigns still remain my favorite from all space ships from all brands to this day. And your contribution, sir, continues in that tradition well :)

@Soup There shouldn't be any issues running this in 7.X since there wasnt any changes that would affect asset mod like this.

Ships seem to be appearing for me in 7.1, not sure if I should still use it though seeing as people are asking for it to be updated, so idk what issue there may be?

hmm I don't use cheat menu. But I just noticed that I had been unsubscribed from the mod and just resubscribed and its working again for me. So no idea what happened with it.

So, i had a look at the cheatmenu changelog and it said the author's new mod is required for some other mods now. I downloaded and tried it with that mod and everything works for me now. If you're using "cheat menu" mod and this, make sure to also subscribe to the "iseeu0 cheat assistant2" mod. Hopefully it helps :D

I'm assuming another mod has caused this issue since this mod hasnt updated in a while, though I've no idea which. I'm suspecting it could be the "Cheat menu" mod, since that was the most recently updated mod I was subbed to, but, I could be completely wrong.

I also delete this mod from the extension folder before resub but nothing work for now
i just saw a little update from x4 before this mod stopped working

This mod just stopped working for me it say: Location " already used by another extension even when it and VRO are the only installed mods. I've tried deleting it and redownloading it as well as completely fresh install of X4. Anyone else having this issue?

Not sure whats causing the stuttering and the laser tower issue, I will look into that. And for version, you should only have this version activated if you are playing with VRO

im having some problems with the Hephaestus. It doesnt drop the laser towers mk1 and every time im close enough to any station or ship the game starts stuttering. im guessing it has something to do with collision. Do i have to download both? this version and the normal one or just this one since im using VRO too. Thx in advance

@EvametryE I fixed the getting stuck issue with this mod on the nexus called UI Extensions and HUD

I just updated it, should be fixed now

After some more testing it turns out the custom ''Tri Beam Turret'' that comes with this ship is causing the issue of getting stuck on the elevator and landing platforms

I have the same problem as liberator65853, can't walk out of the elevator, or disembark froma fighter ship on the landing platforms without getting stuck in the Apollo, there's also something clipping through the elevator. shame because its a gorgeous looking ship

I am unable to walk or do anything on the apollo. I have the patch for the hephaestus installed.

@[!Kencko] depending on where you're in the story, it shows up in PAR and TRI/BUC shipyards as a L ship

@Peanutcat Yeah the pathfinding is having trouble around the mesh of hephaestus, this is caused by the exporter available to modders so not much i can do to fix it. At the moment I recommend going OOS when ships are docking as a workaround

Love it, the ships are just beautiful. I've noticed an issue that ships struggle with the pathfinding for the Hephaestus. If you assign fighters to it many will struggle to dock after sorties, they sort of end up just sitting underneath the ship not able to figure out how to make it to the docking bays on the other side.
