No problem this is just out of my OCD to make Attila more aesthetically pleasing and historical, which decided to take a more fictional and high fantasy approach with the in game units. With the vanilla nomadic factions being the worst offender, which I have fixed under my newest mod focusing on the nomads.

Indeed you are correct about this misconception, lucky however the mod itself does not portray the Garamantians as such outside of the shared sprites also used by Axum for the campaign generals. The photo you see is a antiqued one before I took the decision to change it to be more accurate, which unfortunately creates a T pose scenario on the campaign map which has not be resolved.

Hi, concerning the Garamantians, there is a huge misonception about them by portraying them as blacks, which is more than innacurate, knowing that they are among the berber peoples made of a huge variety of phenotypes, from caucasian like to tanned like tuaregs, and not just blacks as every african is portrayed in popular culture

Well I have done research into that myself and came up to the same result. However I have still not figured out how to change the skin of the general without causing the t pose bug. I will also have to replace the basic generals for the Garamantians as well because Creative Assembly decided to give them the same ones as Axum.

Indeed, all contemporary depictions of Garamantians seem to point to them being more brown than black, with magnificent "feathers" on their head, whether or not those "feathers" were still being used by the time period of Attila? I don't know.

armor skins are pretty good but garamantians wern't black. they were berbers from the sahara like gaetulians
