It would be easy to take away the "attacking" check but then you would see your units constantly repositioning instead of attacking the enemy. I think it would be very annoying to watch your army getting slaughtered because the units are overlapping with each other and trying to fix the issue instead of attacking the enemy.

also if possible, find way to make the game overall become easier to use, like the annoying transporting needs to set to land 1st before anything, we can't just drop or just freely where we want this worker/fighter want to cross as long as there's ferry avail in related waters/ocean, the ferry things uuuuhhh as disgusting as blobbing pack together and get ugly result gettin smack by arty before ferry even lands coz most ferries need 3 step or more if we lost eye they gone

currently I plei Belanda/Dutch campaign, most of arty dont fire unless under atacc move or manually ordering which is zucc-ugly-ineffectif

can you make player's arty firing at will no matter what, just like AI do? my arty stuff include warships didn't fire at their superior range, they need to be challenged so they backfire but that's ugly, we pay em gold, none of these unit cost less than 1 gold(even yacht afaik)

can the same mod be modified to be used in a way that - it would prevent the blobs even while attacking?
Cramming into same line while attaching lags the game terribly when there is big amount of the army

So, the configuration file should look like this:

You can find out the mod serial number of any mod by looking at the URL of the mod page.

You need to ensure the mods.ini configuration file includes the file path to every mod you have subscribed to.

Just add more of these in the list:

Check C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cossacks 3\mods\mods.ini
This file should tell the mod manager where are the mod files located. It should read:

If everything seems to be in order but mod manager is useless you could manually extract No Blobs mod from the Steam workshop folder:
C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\Content\333420\2656982946

Then plant it in the Cossacks 3 mods folder and manually edit the mentioned configuration file accordingly.

If units moved away instead attacking it would be annoying, so they separate only when not attacking.

@Jagulars they spread out very slowly. Is that how this mode should work? That they spread out from blob after attacking? I thought this mod will prevent them even from becoming a blob when attacking.

@Jagulars yes, other mods works for me. I hit the button subscribe on this mode webpage. When I launch the game, I can see on the top left corner, that this mode is listed there. I tried to run the game with only this mode being active. But still, when formations are attacking, they create a blob, which is something I wish so badly to be fixed. What shall I do to make this mode to run?

@kingepard It works for me. Do other mods work for you? For some people, workshop mods don't seem to work at all. Also, note that units will not separate if they are different type, or when they are attacking.

Fixed a bug: Battalions would sometimes move too far away from each other.
