Why somebody need this when u can use Sapph's Cooking with Vanilla Coffee to Sapph's Coffee?

Hey, any chance of getting soup added for the thermos? I have seen plenty of people use thermoses for soup, and this might be worth looking into if you're still developing

Loved this mod so much in my original save about a year ago. It was a god send and I can't see myself without this mod now that I've come to lean on it in my glove box of my car as an 'Oh Crap' item when I'm far from relative safety. This mod has saved my bacon a few times already... which pains me to speak my next words.

As of version 41.78.16, this mod does not allow you to eat. I thought it was a conflict with other mods but I did an extensive search to just try the mod alone and the problem still persisted. I very much would like to see this masterpiece idea of a mod to be a viable option for us to use our coffees again.

@Schrödinger's Cat Those warnings explicit mods conflicts. We (including you ) prefer warnings to not having them, as the conflicts are there anyway. See this post and answers from Enigma. [theindiestone.com]

@Tchernobill it uses custom macro to change items instead of doing so explicitly, so other mods can not detected if item was modified or not

So far it only gives warnings, but if there will be any real problems in game I will let you know

@RedCrow I chose to reuse the vanilla cooking process that induce that kind of weight increase when adding ingredients. I share your point of view: in this case it is too much. I'll see in the future if I can balance that.

When I fill the thermos the weight of the item goes from 0.2 to 1.0, and that seems correct, but when I add coffee it will go from 1.0 to 1.8 to 2.4 to 3.0 with 3 coffee, it's that correct ? seems a little too much for some istant cofee.

With new version 1.6 you can now attach it to canteen points of AuthenticZ bags.

This mod does coffee and tea beverage that actually works for fatigue retrieval while fatigue management from food item is bugged in vanilla.
In addition to working at creation, this mod works after leaving the game and reloading while this is also broken in vanilla.
Temperature management in vanilla adds happyness for some hot food. This is not implemented for coffee and tea in vanilla. This is still not implemented with this mod.

looking at the lua seems that the line to remove thirst manipulation has only been applied to coffee and not tea, just in case anyone has the same issue!

coffee seems to work fine though!

hehe if i made a tea for real with 5 tea bags, id probably need a cup of milk and an egg cup of sugar to go with it :)

@♥Kina♥ By "Heat management is not implemented", I mean the temperature conservation and bonus is not maintained specifically in the isothermal item as you could expect from a real one. e.g. you put a hot coffee inside, it remains hot (with the associated happiness bonus) for as long as it would in a lamba container. same for cold beverage (with the associated conservation bonus).

When you say "heat management not implemented" do you mean that there is no heating/cooling of the coffee?

Works with B41.60 multiplayer, but who cares ? There is no sleeping on Multiplayer.

Look at the picture I just added to the mod description.
If it does not help, know that what you describe is typical to B41.50 behaviour.

There may be another problem. I only ever tried solo, on windows, there may be other parameters that differ between you and me but I have no idea what. This mod is fairly simple compared to my other mods and I do not think it is fragile.

It's a cool idea for a mod but if it's this fragile and complicated to get working on top of the existing known issues then it's really not worth the trouble, sorry.

That is with ONLY this mod and it's dependency; Item Tweaker API for B41.

And yes I am on v41.56...

The required steps to get this to work are as follows, no?:

1. Subscribe to ItemTweakerAPI
2. Subscribe to HotCoffee Thermos (this mod)
3. Enable both mods
4. Start new save
5. Find Thermos
6. Add water to Thermos
7. Add Coffee or Tea to Thermos (this step is impossible, it does not present itself as an option, ever)

And in the last attempt I only spawned the Thermos itself with ItemSpawner, then added water and tried to add coffee or tea.

Again, there are literally no options to add coffee or tea. I don't know how else to explain that to you.

@NordikaMan all food items from recipes are empty of food benefits if spawned with debug or cheat menu.

@NordikaMan are you using B41.56 ? if yes, try right clicking the thermos when it is filled with water when you have coffee on you. Also evolved recipes are NOT in the crafting menu.
