Ramp and light control actions are restricted to group leaders and players in the pilot's group.
Player pilot should have access for sure. Are jumpers able to Stand Up while this is happening?

When using Player pilots, after preparing the Ramp for free fall, the pilot or paratroopers are unable to switch the lights to red or Green. This works with IA pilots but not the others way. Am I making some mistake?

I unloaded the mod and still didn’t but at one point opening the cargo ramp prior to having people stand up makes the ai freak out less I’m guessing the quick succession of opening the door from standing up makes them go nuts

Whenever I set a drop zone the AI deviates from the first move mark and just starts flying around the map, I'm using DCO Troop but thats the only AI mod

Well, that too. But I am more going at being able to drop vehicles together with the troops, similar to how Immersive Halo Jump does it.

After you set the release point (RP) there is a big slider to set the altitude.

I know not really an important ask but is there anyway to have any vehicles that were loaded in the plane with the players show in the static spawned object with them once they prep? Just so that vehicle(s) don’t disappear when all the players are moved to the static plane before they jump?

Which aircraft and what autopilot? The most likely thing I can think of is that something is causing the players collide with the ramp perhaps? Also what airspeed?

They're happening with the player pilot. We run an autopilot mod, and he has it locked on at 10000m on the dot, so I dont think he's maneuvering. Im not sure about desync, as once we stand up we cant see the actual aircraft

Ramp deaths, are these happening with player pilot? Specifically are they maneuvering or desyncing at the time?

There are some tricky things. Players standing take up space, more than the seats provide. So if multiple players seated next to each other all stand quickly, some of them will collide and get pushed out. So best to stand in orderly fashion and walk away.

I got it to work, kinda. The problem we are currently having is that randomly when people stand up, they are thrown out of the aircraft. We have also experienced an issue with players being instantly killed as soon as they walk off the ramp

how does this work with the C-17, are unit used this with the C-130, with player pilot, but were getting a little to big for the C-130, if we use the C-17, do we teleport to a C-130? or will our immersion be saved by us jumping from a C-17 visually?

On another note, amazing mod, we did 3 jumps last night in training with 16 jumpers, only had the odd person get kicked as we were rushing to get in position before green light lol

@ZeeKiwi the minimal-setup method is to download ffr_server_only.sqf, put that in your mission folder, and run the code by adding a line to the init.sqf

are there instructions for how to add this to my map in eden and then run on my server? I installed the mod and I see a bunch of sqf files in the pbo. I'm new to all of this, so I apologize if this is a dumb question. I read through all of the questions on this thread and it all seems like everyone but me knows exactly what to do and how to load this lol.

You can script the AI pilot. Refer to the github to see how the flight planning action is doing that.

is it possible to start the scenario with the plane in an orbit and ready for players to free fall off the ramp? or does a player always have to initiate the flight plan? ideally with this implementation the plane would follow a set flight plan by the mission editor

1) Get in plane, Pilot flies to your Initial Point, a few km away from your Release Point, Pilot uses "Prep Ramp for Free Fall" action
2) Jumpers use "Stand Up" action and walk to the ramp
3) Pilot or Jumpmaster uses "Jumplight Green" action
4) Jumpers walk off the ramp
5) Pilot uses "Secure Ramp from Free Fall" action
Which part are you having an issue with?
