You make a good argument! It's worth considering that the base, unmodded game has plenty of its own free win opportunities. Sure, a mobile phone could give you a geologist just when you need one, but you could also simply roll a geologist from an ordinary symbol pickup!
With that in mind, do you still think it's overpowered?
One time, I got it on one of the first few rent cycles and it gave me geologist while I had a decent mixture of pearls, shiny pebbles & ores.
I would suggest making it Uncommon (maybe Rare) or adding weights to the humans (Meaning it's not an equal chance for each one, you are more likely to get some then others)
Other then the potential of a near-free run, this is well made for one of the first few mods.
