for anyone wondering how to fix the dealmakers crash: go into the mods files, go into the scripts then prefabs folder, open dealmakers.lua in notepad++ or your code editor of choice, and edit "images/inventoryitems/dealmakers.xml" to "images/inventoryitems/dealmakershat.xml"

also check the other mod folders for it being written as "dealmakers.xml" and change those to "dealmakershat.xml" as well!

essentially, the mod crashes because it cant grab the dealmakers inventory image! fix the file paths and ur good to go!

also for op: im currently tweaking the mod to add new dialogue, sounds, and the like. i dont plan on publishing it at all, but wanted to let you know about it (and if you dont mind me publishing it w proper credits that would be really really nice orz i love this mod so much )

Don't Starve refuses to let me play with this mod [as well as a few others], and the reason seems to be that the mod runs on an older version of the game? what version is it on?

My friend who was playing on my server (I was playing as Spamton myself and did not get this error, however) got this crash. Not sure what's wrong with the trader component but thought I'd let you know! He did not try trading with the pig/merm kings, by the way. He just got the crash out of nowhere. I somewhat agree with GlitchSans on the whole aspect of there being a NEO skin for Spamton but, I feel like that would be a little bit lame. Why not make his NEO outfit into actual armor that he can make for himself and only for himself, it wouldn't make too much sense of Wilson running around in Spamton NEO armor.

tylerfan8's idea would be a really interesting gimmick, and it suits him perfectly!

I agree with B'ghoul. It would be a real [big shot] move to add Spamton's actual voice from Deltarune (his dialogue SFX from the character's source material) to this mod. It's possible, look at the Ralsei mod and you should be able to figure it out. Bonus points if you can add a free-to-craft Spamton NEO alt skin, in a similar manner to Ralsei's (Ralsei Mod) alt skin.
