For those who are having a hard time with the first map, read the notes around the house! Some have massive hints and some stuff you are interact with also have text to show they can be interacted with.

(If you can't see any text on any papers or interactable stuff around the house try playing in Single Player! Muitiplayer in Garry's Mod can sometimes disable some map objects. If you still don't see them try disabling your Add-ons!)

P.S. - This map is from 2008 and is still one of the best horror maps I've played and mostly only uses Half Life 2 assets and some custom sounds! :lunar2019piginablanket:

Is there an actual way to beat this? Literally the only video I could find ended with the guys moving the door with the phys gun and going to the next map.

It is possible to get into the house, there was a key nearby a tree on the outside, you'll have to look for it for a bit, but it can be found.
