rest assured this won't cause any problems with mods; this is a 30-kilobyte dupe file. conversely, i should mention that some addons (such as those that change velocity, air density, etc.) may break the physics for this dupe

it works fine on my end, and i have tested it extensively across singleplayer and multiplayer; it might depend on how long you press NUMPAD /. if you press it too quickly the weld doesn't detach (a thruster on the bomb breaks the weld connecting it to the plane). what is happening when you press the key?
