The white cobblestone is an overlay texture. Meaning there is a second colorgradient texture that dictates the actual color

I mean, if you made it look like platinum or a darker-shader kind of steel, that would be really cool. Too white and you destroy the project. I'll await for news!

I don't understand. I get that the red sample contains gold, but in your canvas you show blue with white, BUT the weapons ahve golden all over the place. What's going on?
