Would it be possible to give this mod the ability to toggle whatever flag the game uses to determine if an arm was given by "Multiple Arms"?
It's always bugged me that my 7+ armed abomination of a chimera only got the bonus on 2 of their arms...

Hey there! Havent played in a couple months but i seem to remember there being a wish so that one could become a truekin who gains mutations naturally, was this removed? Great mod btw! Pretty much essential for any playthrough now :)

Hey, currently the Restock Wish is causing an error, something about World Events, I'm not very familiar with Qud Modding but ya might want to check that out.

As a temporary fix for other people like me who find Limbsmith pretty indispensable, going into the Mod's folder and deleting the Restock Wish's file worked out.

@Crowo @Theta @Flahhh We must have had too much Witchwood bark! Words and their capitalisation confused us. It has passed however.

I also found a makeshift fix by simply capitalizing the word "capitalize" --> "Capitalize"

I don't really know much about modding but it was the same fix that someone found for Sundry Cybernetics so I thought I'd try it here. Go figure!

i figured out a bandaid fix if you wanna manually edit the mod until author updates it themselves.
just to go the mod directory:

\steamapps\workshop\content\333640\2645492028\

open LimbsmithWish.cs with any text editor(vscode or notepad++ preferred)

select ALL with ctrl-A

ctrl-V(or paste) the pastebin text in, replacing all the text. then save or ctrl-s. reload mod config and approve the new change ingame, and you should be all good.

@TutterFunks - you can! Hands (plural) are their own body part, which you only get with your normal body, Multiple Arms mutation and the Helping Hands item. But if you do happen to have two extra hands from somewhere (I'm looking at you, Chimera) then you can use Limbsmith to add the glove-supporting Hands as well.

Add new body parts -> Hands -> select the free hands you want to pair up

Hi, I have been using Limbsmith to rearrange the composition of my character but have run into a problem. I currently have an arm attached to the body, and one attached to the back, however neither have the ability to equip gloves.

Is it possible to add Worn on Hands and I've missed it, or is it not possible because they are from two separate 'anchor' points (back and body)?

Any advice is appreciated, great mod btw, I'm in love :luv:

i deleted my last comment because i was asking for natural weapon selection and it turns out I'm Blind As Hell, so i'm just going to say this mod rocks and massively helps realize the full potential of RADICAL BODILY AUTONOMY™ in Qud. thank you kindly for making it.

@CrypticCritter those particular pseudopods don't specify what slot they equip on. I've updated the mod to default to hands for them, and now you can melt people to your hearts delight.

I changed my body into a protoplasmic one, and was hoping I could give all my arms an acidic pseudopod using "equip natural weapon", there were many pseudopods on offer, but no acidic ones. Is that a bug or is that just not implemented yet?

@Glazkor thanks for the feedback. Looks like that's a conflict introduced by the Faster Merchant Restocking mod. Any other mod that looks at merchants will have the same error.
I've moved the mod load order earlier, so it should compile + run again. The restock wish won't work, but that should be the only collateral damage.

Very neat. But it seems I can't use "Modify existing bodypart". When I select it, the menu simply closes. I have already added a new set of arms, but nothing can modify them.
