hey, i just do an early realistic start om an island. nut i cant load to load them on ships? (ship is huge, flying p liner mod)

Love these little things, they're really great for an early start.

Looking forward to oil tanks, bus and concrete mixer so I can push my 1918 start back to a 1908 start.

As an addendum, they would make an awesome jumping point between the 1900s horses and the 1917 Mack trucks.

You can pretty easily make a whole construction set of these things. I mean, a traction engine is the same as a horse, really. Sling an flatbed trailer on one and you can haul cement, concrete, aggregates, and whatever else you can nail to the trailer.

The horses still have their own niche in cosmonaut mode where they are very cheap to build yourself with the horse breeder and only eat crops.

Steam vehicles require being made in a proper automobile plant which requires a lot of investment to get up and running. So basically vehicle progression goes:

Horses -> Steam -> GAZ-AA 1929 -> Vanilla game vehicles
