for some reason all these new unit mods arent working with mods for increasing unit size, why is that ? very annoying haha please update as this is fantastic work

disabled half my mods and still only getting it as a option for general, which is still great! but would love to be able to use them in the campaign, I am using Radious etc, so maybe thats stopping it from being a unit i can recruit through the barracks?

Will be trying it tonight with Sparta faction reskins and overhauls

Great mod, been using it for a long time. Still works fine for me. Everyone who it doesnt work for I would look at your other mods affecting spartan/greek units and sparta in general

So, i made a few changes to your mod though. I added a 4th unit using the kings guards spearmen skin/variant and replace their weapons with pikes and kopis instead of spears, now it sort of mimics the 300 spartans.

I have the Leonidas Monument (the highest military building) and I can't recruit these units... Can someone help?

You see, the game has the units already, its just that the required buildings to get these units is set for the wrong buildings. Its supposed to be greek_heavy_5 for required buildings but for some reason its hellenic as a requirement, which sparta faction doesnt have.

I aboslutely love this mod, but could you change the names to King's Guard? It would look much better and it's more grammatically correct. This small change would make this mod a 10/10 for me <3

- Download PFM, install and open it.
- Open the file at this location: C: steamapps > common > Total war Rome II > data > kingguard.pack. (the disk could be different depending on where you save the game)
- Click db
- Click building_units_allowed_table
- Click kingguardsbuilding_units_allowed
- Change all buildings needed for units to greek_military_heavy_5
- Save.
You should be able to recruit these 3 units from Monument of Leonidas which is the level 5 barracks bulding of Sparta. I will delete this comment if not allowed by author.

Why can you even recruit these units? They should be only for general, if you have King guard spearmear 6 armies in your legion, your legion is unstopabble

I ca not recruit then, I already build 4th grade royal barracks.

Can they be used in custom battle?

I hope you won't be mad if I alter some of the stats? Yeah, they might be king guards, but still. I need them to be able to atleast face some competition. Have a good day!

For correct: spears missing bug, cards look different from vanilla, cards should hilight when selected... its a ver good mod aniway

can I use your models for my own unit mod

I can use your units in Custom Game. I started a new Campaign and built Military Barracks 4, and I don't see your units. Also, the area where you select unit abilities is tiny. Wondering if there is a way to make it larger? Perhaps you created this on a different screen resolution.

it says there recrutable with level 4 camp but dosint look like they are avalible

i got this mod for my rome campaign to make sparta harder to conquer, sadly only saw one unit. jumped into a custom battle to try them out, and the genera's kingsguard unit got 850 kills without breaking a sweat (as in, they lost ONE man).
Also they're beautifully done, really great models. 300/10 would make sparta OP again.
