Have you enabled the 7 necessary mods when you opened up a new creative world to fly the Horten on? Because I tested the plane with said 7 mods enabled on a fresh new creative world and it loaded fine for me with no errors.
Also this here is the older variant of the plane, here is the link to my newer, slightly updated one with better geometry (still a bit laggy but just follow the steps in the description :D):

(PS: If you don't wanna click on the link out of security concerns, just look up my profile and search for the upload of my Horten with the tag [Updated])
Have fun! ~ ElGordo26
Atleast from what I've gathered from the "most helpful" negative reviews of veteran players here on Steam, WT seems to be fun up to a certain vehicle grade/level and then it fully devolves into a horrendous cashgrab. Not mentioning the atrocious methods and behaviour of the devs (like banning the guy who exposed them of secretly reducing your exp and silver gain when you play very good for longer amounts of time, or continuing faction/vehicle balancing issues etc...).
No thanks I'm good.
Sometimes WT is just useful to see certain rather obscure vehicles in action, but that's about it.
cuz WT is nothing but a game to piss people off and full of cursed/bad luck maps
Yet the flying wing construction of the Horten 229 (and also Northrops flying wings as well) stood the test of originality and time (as we can see in things like the Northrop B2).
Also Gaijin has to balance things accordingly, so WT stays interesting and fun, because an actual realistic war and weapons representation is everything BUT fun.
Cheap plane = bad quality plane
VERY EXPENSIVE MULTI MILLION DOLLAR PLANE = VERY WORTH IT AND VERY GREAT QUALITY (extra great qualityif blessed by Star Platinum)
The Horten 229 was, as far as I know, meant to be a fighter aircraft according to the Horten brothers Reimar and Walter. Yet to secure more funding they got into the 1000x1000x1000 program of the Luftwaffe (1000 kilometres of flight range, 1000 km/h topspeed and 1000kg/2.200 lbs bomb capacity). This program was one of the last ditch efforts in 1943 to turn the tides of World War 2 in favor of the Third Reich.
Yet on the other hand the Gothaer Waggonwerke (in Gotha Germany) , the company who was chosen to start the production on the Horten flying wing, thought that the flaps/additional airbrakes on the upper and lower side of the wings weren't enough for fast turns/maneuvers (which was wrong according to the statements of a few test pilots who said the Horten 229 had excellent turning).
This wrong train of thought made the companies engineers think the Horten brothers envisioned a fast bomber platform, which they didn't.
