There are option in the data.sql file. Look for maxOfficer and maxLifeSupport. Make sure to disable the other options that you don't want to use by putting -- before UPDATE.

It no longer works.

I did a new game and dismissed crew, I was able to hire crew, everyone can currently be promoted to officers.

I'll give this a shot and see what I get!

hi I have a problem with this mod, I can't recrute new crew members to the ship. I even tried to dismis all the crew, and still I can't recrute new crew. is there something i'm mising?

I am sad. When I read that it came with a component I thought that would let me add this ability to other ships. But I forgot ships have a built in capacity. Is there anyway to make this compatible with the Breaker of Games ship mod? I'd even try to do it myself if it's not too hard and someone can talk me through it or point to an easy tutorial.

Looks very interesting... Is this hard to apply oneself?

Nevermind my comment. I had to upgrade ship with new qtrs for officers.

Does not work for me. Can't promote crew to officer unless I dismiss an officer to make room.
Any suggestions?

@Trese Brothers Oh hi! To answer your question, the Frontier Liner-copy is the only ship that does this for now, but it should be easier to do away with the copy and just change all existing playable ships into being this way instead. I did this because uhh, maybe ppl don't want to face ships with 36 officers left and right.

Is this the only ship that is upgraded in that way?
