its weird how it has batteries modeled in it but it uses petrol as fuel

I can help with that!

1) Open the "Dynamite" tool in your tool gun and attach the dynamite to the RC Car, set whatever damage and set to delay "0.00"

2) Then weld the dynamite to the RC Car, you may set it as a dupe if you don't wanna repeat this again over and over

3) Now take it for a test drive and enjoy!

Did you ever try asking Sligwolf? Recall that they had a small vehicle addon where the driver is completely hidden from view when seen in thirdperson.
